A firefighter has been injured after a firework was thrown and exploded at their leg.
It happened during a flag-related disturbance in Londonderry.
Police have charged three men following the incident in the Craigavon Bridge area of the city on Friday.
The arrests and charges follow a report that a number of people had climbed up a crane in the area and erected a flag.
It is understood campaigners unfolded a Palestinian flag.
Police and colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service responded
A crowd gathered close to the incident and a firework was thrown, which exploded at a firefighter’s leg, causing injuries.
The men, aged 22, 26 and 28, were all charged with disorderly behaviour and are due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 31.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
