So the plan was to cut out bread, so far so good 6 days in going well! Then the smell of bacon cooking and my kids eating delicious thick cut buttery white bread I caved!

  1. You can always swap white bread for wholemeal or granary, still hits the bread spot just with extra fibre, vitamins and minerals!

  2. The trick to how I’ve never broken a New Year’s resolution, is that I’ve never made any.

  3. That bacon looks positively grim..

You aren’t meant to cremate it.

  4. Just switch to healthier bread instead. I cut out white bread years ago, never looked back. Warburtons seeded batch is delicious, i highly recommend.

  5. Just cut out white bread.

Once you go brown, you’ll no longer frown.

  6. Where’s the sauce i.e ketchup / brown sauce.
Assuming you’re not a fan of it?

  7. Only a small setback lad, nowt wrong with that. NYE resolutions are always difficult because January is such a shit month and we look for that lil serotonin boost in anything and it feels best when we get it from the thing we gave up.

Just don’t throw it away completely and scran a shit load of bread going forward and you’ll be sound.

  8. You’ve managed to make a bacon sandwich look _so_ bleak that it’s steeling my resolve to stay carbless for now.

  9. You haven’t failed, you succeeded 5 times! Keep going and well done on your good choices!

  10. Take the bread away and you’ve got a carnivore dieters dream snack

  11. this looks like it should be served at a scurvy convention

  12. The only failure here is not spreading the butter to the edges. That bacon is worthy of breaking any resolution though, nice

  13. Fair play to you. I hate new years resolutions, it’s like saying let’s make the worst month of the year even more challenging

  14. Bread, bacon and butter shouldn’t be demonised.

All of those things can be part of a healthy, but balanced, diet.

  15. What’s is the friggety-fuck is that? Have you got Quavers on there?

  16. One bad meal does not need to be a bad day.

One bad day does not need to be a bad week.

One bad week does not need to be a bad….

Keep raving champ, we are all human 🙂

  17. So me personally I’m nearly halfway through a streak to not eat chocolate or other sweet treats for ten straight days. It wouldn’t be nearly as hard if I didn’t have Christmas chocolate still sitting around in my apartment but I’m glad I haven’t cracked yet.

  18. You’re still good if you put a couple of lettuce leaves on top

  19. Bad day…. Put bacon on it. Kids misbehaving…. Put bacon on it. High blood pressure…. Put bacon on it. Worlds ending…. Put bacon on it.

  20. Bad day…. Put bacon on it. Kids misbehaving…. Put bacon on it. High blood pressure…. Put bacon on it. Worlds ending…. Put bacon on it.1

  21. You could make a calorie related resolution, and then have a bacon sandwich instead whatever other meal you would have eaten.

Cutting out food groups entirely is just setting yourself for failure for most people.
