Hi!
We are Raven and the Dark Shadows, a rock band out of Miami Beach, Florida.
We are coming to Europe in July for a small tour that culminates in the first musical performance at the Catacombs since 1897 as part of the 2024 Paris Olympic Opening Ceremonies.
Leading up to our historic performance, we will be having small intimate performances in haunted (or rumored to be haunted) spaces. We will be filming both concert footage and music footage in these places.
Since Reddit has always been a great forum for us to find places in the States, we are wondering if you guys had any suggested haunted venues that could work for a small music performance. We also were wondering if anyone here would like to help out and be extras in the film (we have extra masks). If interested in being an extra, please send a PM.
For those of you not aware of our music, here is a link to our Spotify
Thanks and hope to hear back soon

Keep your satanic activity where you live, we are a Holy God loving Christian nation and we certainly do not need any of your unholy influence here. Praise the Holy trinity.
Bir Mula in cospicua does ghost tours and would probably be amenable. There is a Valletta ghost tour but I suspect the churches wouldn’t allow filming etc. There are a lot of tunnels which are considered haunted
I’ve heard lots of stories about Villa Sans Souci in Marsaxlokk
I mean, there’s some satanic ritualistic graffiti in the derelict buildings on the cliffs along past St Agatha’s tower in Mellieħa
The most famous haunted house in Malta is, I would say, villa sans souci but it’s practically a ruin now and probably not certified for public performances.
Manoel island reportedly has a ghost but to be honest I’d take my chances with a poltergeist before I’d try do business with MIDI (the company that administers it).
Most old national buildings have a ghost story, the most famous one being verdala palace (they have the blue lady) and you might (just might) get permission to use it via your olympic connection but it’s very unlikely since it’s a presidential residence. Also it really doesn’t have a spooky vibe inside.
Fort at Angelo in birgu, on the other hand, is a lot cooler, allegedly also haunted (even though less famously so) and to make life easier for you, rentable 🙂
Of course, you can always just go for some other venue that’s atmospheric but not haunted like the red tower in mellieha or Notre dame gate. The latter is kind of big and cavernous which is cool for a concert.
