Hi!
We are Raven and the Dark Shadows, a rock band out of Miami Beach, Florida.
We are coming to Europe in July for a small tour that culminates in the first musical performance at the Catacombs since 1897 as part of the 2024 Paris Olympic Opening Ceremonies.
Leading up to our historic performance, we will be having small intimate performances in haunted (or rumored to be haunted) spaces. We will be filming both concert footage and music footage in these places.
Since Reddit has always been a great forum for us to find places in the States, we are wondering if you guys had any suggested haunted venues that could work for a small music performance. We also were wondering if anyone here would like to help out and be extras in the film (we have extra masks). If interested in being an extra, please send a PM.
For those of you not aware of our music, here is a link to our Spotify
Thanks and hope to hear back soon

Hey, there are no places that are haunted, and any rumors are false.
But there are a lot of castles in our country
There’s a fair few castles in the country in various states, from ruins to tourist traps.
If you are going for a different sort of vibe, there’s a fair few abandoned buildings/areas. Some of these have perhaps unique history that might be of interest to you? In particular if they have an ex-Soviet-satellite-state vibe?

As to legends and so, maybe: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_B%C3%A1thory](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_B%C3%A1thory) ; [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%8Cachtice_Castle](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%8Cachtice_Castle)
The first thing that comes to mind is Čachtický hrad, a supposedly haunted castle with legends going back to the middle ages about a lady with a sad and harrowing story.
Then there’s also the Tribeč mountain range, a sort of “Bermuda triangle” of Slovakia where there’s reports of an unusual number of lost people, weird sightings and other weird stuff happening, stretching back some two centuries at least. Jozef Karika, a literary author, wrote a bestselling fiction horror book called Trhlina (Fracture/Fissure) about it which also got adopted into a movie and a two-part miniseries with the same name.
There’s also a little bit unrelated but still pretty interesting topic coming to mind, from which you could draw inspiration. There are so-called obrie valy (giant/giants’ mounds) scattered around parts of Slovakia in seemingly random places which have little research behind them, so they are somewhat “shrouded in mystery”. Some date them to early Celtic or Slavic settlers in late antiquity or early middle ages, others date them to older periods, and others, still, date them to some mythical pre-historic era – dating, which is basically always done by conspiracy theorists and other crazy people.

An abandoned monastery called Máriacsalád or Mariánska Čeľaď
Krvavé šenky, that’s your place, it’s mostly abandoned.
