What a relief – so glad to know that /s
Like obviously awful.
However, this kind of thing happening also shows we dont live in a corrupt society where the police can get away with things. In many countries police are totally protected often with impunity.
I would be disturbed to see the MET had a higher or even comparable rate of criminality to the average bloke on the clapham omnibus. Which I dont believe is the case. But we should applaud our country for being willing and aggressive in our pursuit of justice.
Ive never met a police officer who wouldnt be willing to arrest and charge a colleague for something like this. Try that in Gabon or Myanmar,
Seems like the entirely correct response to the unfortunately inevitable circumstance of a police officer committing a crime
We all know the police are a bit rapey. But no one does anything. Over the past five years more than 300 officers have been reported for rape and 500 for sexual assault.
Is there anyone in the Met who isn’t sexual predator? There seems to be an awful lot of “one bad apple(s)”
They’re like rats. If one gets convicted, you can be sure there’s ten getting away with it.
