Do we know what’s happening at all? The streets branching off of Haymarket are also closed.
I was told “something happened in this area” when I asked one of the police officers
I am not sure. Police indeed didn’t disclose anything but I saw the incident management unit arriving right after we were forced to evacuate. Furthermore there was a car stopped right in the middle of Charles II St

As a New Zealander I really hope they manage to blow up NZ House. It’s such an eyesore. To be clear, not encouraging or condoning but if they managed to bring that building down and not hurt a single soul, I’d be ok with it.
