I found this tweet in Ukrainian from a person saying Pole’s aren’t Ukrainians’ brothers because they block the border. I translated the rest of the replies and honestly felt quite stupid with everything I did to support Ukraine. Here are some choice fragments:

And so on, and so on… it would be very hard to find a nice word about Poland there. I was stunned to be honest, I always thought the words about how ungrateful Ukrainians can be is just propaganda but this… opened my eyes.

Ukrainian here, due to the complicated history between our countries, there are some unresolved issues that some Ukrainians are offended by, plus the blocking of the border really hit our economy very hard.
Would I call the people of Poland brothers? I’d like to but I’m not sure.
friends? yes, I like your country, your people, your language, culture. I am eternally grateful for the help to me, my family and the country.
But this situation really makes you think about the comments of Ukrainians on this stupid Twitter where the audience is dumber than a vegetable.
P.S. It’s funny to read how some people accuse the author of the post of falling for bots. You are clearly not Slavs and certainly not Poles/Ukrainians.
Yeah abs currently they are starting to be really annoying, at least in Warsaw where I see them. All those young men foking around, driving on streets like crazy. Literally almost every irresponsibly driving car has UA plates. They came here, and they think like they’re some gods or something idk. I can respect those who came here and are still not glad they need to be here instead in their country but are happy they got some helping hand.
