  1. In the streets of Belfast, the cries for “Ceasefire Now” and “Stop the Genocide” resonate with a fierce and relentless spirit, this Saturday. This march isnโ€™t just a show of solidarity; it’s a testament to the unbreakable bond between Ireland and Gaza, rooted in a shared struggle against the crushing yoke of colonialism and imperialism. Here, in the heart of Ireland, support for Palestine isn’t a fleeting gesture swayed by the winds of cynical interests.

It’s a deep, enduring commitment, unshaken by shifting sands. While the world’s attention may waver, caught in the next whirlwind of conflict elsewhere, Belfast stands as a beacon of unwavering support. The Irish, true to their history of resilience and resistance, remain steadfast allies to the Palestinians, amplifying their cries for justice and freedom.

  2. Fair to them, Iโ€™m too wrapped up in my own life to drag myself down to Belfast for anything that doesnโ€™t directly benefit me.

  3. Chanting River to the Sea. Calling for an end to Isreal.

    Ironic.

  4. The only reason nothing is being said or done is because Israel have too much power and own too much in the western world. Had this been another country they would be tried for war crimes.

  5. Genuine question

Neither Israel or Hamas want a ceasefire – neither of them would obey it

When protests call for a ceasefire what are they actually asking for?

  6. Whilst the vast majority stay at home in support of Israelโ€™s right to defend its People & Country.

No Hamas Terrorists, No Death & Destruction of Innocents, all Innocents ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ& ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ

  7. LOL

    I’m sorry people… But it’s a bit ridiculous no?

Why is everyone getting so upset about things here… In this country that’s thousands of miles away from Gaza. You wanna be seen and heard? OK. Go to London then and protest all month long. They’re the ones who decide all the policies for UK diplomacy.

I mean the people in Westminster will have absolutely ZERO control over what Israel or Gaza does… But go there anyway because it makes more sense than protesting outside City Hall in a country where there is currently no government in place.

Protesting here as if Northern Ireland has any control in foreign affairs is insane. They can’t even form a government here, what makes you think they’d be able to help governments in the Middle East…

  8. I for one am not a fan of Israel at all but what is the alternative? Stop bombing and let Hama’s regroup for another attack specifically targeted at killing and raping civilians? Including children/babies. The people of Gaza should have chosen better leaders rather than a group of cowards who brutally attack civilians and defenceless children/babies then run back and hide behind the Gazan people, in the hospitals and near the schools. Then when Israel responds they cry about genocide!! Gazan civilians were well warned in advance that they couldn’t be guaranteed safety if they stayed in the north but at least they were given a heads up.
