All humanitarian aid should be stopped for all criminal governments. It does nothing to help the people, it’s just funding more oppression, more weapons and more mercenaries.
Russia is a cancer in the world, and wherever russia contributes, the people pays the price. Democracy and human rights scares russians more than anything.
All countries that consistently break sanctions should themselves be subject to increasingly harsh economic sanctions.
Why are we even still donating money to the CAR, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger?
We don’t even get a thank you, most of the money gets pocketed by the junta, they engage in pro-russian propaganda to turn other countries in Africa, they smear our militaries’ reputation, and they sell off their economy to russian gangsters for a penny on the dollar.
Most people in these countries are not even aware of the billions in money, medicine and food that we send there, because most of it gets pocketed by the junta, and the rest gets a russian stamp put on it.
Lots of easily bribable wannabe dictators given recent coups. Something other brutal dictators see as optimal.
