  1. People don’t want to be killed or quadraspazzed for rich people’s dick measuring contests? What a surprise.

  2. A friend’s son wanted to join the RN and gave up as the waits were so ridiculous. He applied to join the police and passed out before he would’ve done his first RN fitness test.

  3. Westminsters upgrade was put on hold months ago due to the condition of the old ship being much worse than anticipated and likely the necessary repairs making the upgrade not economically viable (keeping the previously upgraded t23s in service longer than originally planned being the better option)
She has not yet started her upgrade so the headline is already wrong

Argyll has been in upgrade for a while she won’t be retired but her re entry to service may be delayed

  4. Dumb question, would it not be more profitable to sell them?

  5. The irony of something called Westminster needing a massive injection of taxpayer funds is delicious.

  6. if they let people join and not have massive wait times they wont be under staffed. I had family try join royal navy just to be told sorry we are full and wait times are realy long.

  7. Would it not be cheaper to offer better wages to the workers so that people are incentivised to get a job there?

  8. Who cares…? The only thing that counts is Tories/puttler supporters full wallet.

  9. Thats stupid. Just use them as service swop vehicles. This would mean they take old ships that need repairs out of service and have these to replace them.
