Automakers Warn Trump To Not Gut EV Credits If He Wins. Trump would gut the Inflation Reduction Act, President Biden’s signature bill, if he gets back into the White House. GM and Nissan are taking the news seriously enough that they are asking Trump to not do that if he wins.

  2. They may not have to worry. He just may not win in November (yet again). If he did win, he failed to keep ~~kept~~ or forgot about most of his campaign promises anyway.

  4. Nothing to worry, automakers have to arrange one of their company off sites at a Trump property and he will do what they want him to do. The guy is super easy to bribe. However, it’s not likely he would win anyways.

  5. Not going to win! Will probably be in Jail by then…. And if it did happen, Trump would be setting China up to take over the future selling EVs and Solar to BRICS, the EU, and the rest of the world while we suck on oil.

  7. Of course, because they can’t sell EV’s on their own merit. They have to be subsidized by tax payers in order for anyone to be interested in them. They’re completely impractical for real use. They should really focus on hybrid technology.

    EVs still inferior to ICE in every way.
