I recently came across an official article from Ukraine that said they were pleased with military equipment sent from Germany. However, I admit I was a bit sceptical of this claim. It seemed over the top, for one thing: why single out German equipment without mentioning supplies from other allies? Why wasn’t all foreign aid acknowledged equally? This made me wonder if there was an ulterior motive behind the specifics.
I think from this article it is clear that the German complex weapons rarely perform optimally unless they are recently well tested in use. This is something the Germans have not done. So it is no wonder that Ukrainian troops have difficulties using these tanks. This article shows the Germans clearly need more work on their tanks.
I don’t get how the west, in 2 years of this war, hasn’t upped its supply chains adequately yet. Hopefully this doesn’t come back to haunt us all eventually.
Russia has the same problem, a lot lot worse. This is war, but no country has a war economy. No country has fully mobilized. These aren’t even 1/10th WW2 numbers of soldiers and equipment being deployed, not 1/30th WW2 numbers being manufactured.
I don’t believe this. So much bs floating around.
