What was the propaganda part? There were two families with similar incomes in Finland and the US. It’s not a perfect comparison as the Finnish family’s income was only temporarily on the same level due to both parents working 60% until summer.

What has shocked you so much?
I would not call it propaganda, maybe bad journalism or at least bad comparison, taking an engineer and a pharmacist in Finland and compare their life with somewhat boheme Christian small town (?) family in US. Don’t know what this rubbish is supposed to mean to anyone.
What I got was that going to a private school for an arts degree is not wise economically, well it is the same in Finland, even if you don’t pay tuition fees.
