Taking from the poor again, while the rich get richer.
Maybe let’s not pay Mps and Lords a income providing their already have financial income form external sources?
>Mr Sunak told the newspaper that if Labour gets into power then “taxes are going up”.
If Tories get into power taxes are going up. Only an idiot would believe pre-election tax cuts won’t immediately be reversed post election.
Right, I’m 14 but from what it looks like to me I’d say they want to make rich people pay less money and give less to those who really need it. Have i got it wrong here?
Great idea! Reduce the tax burden while exponentially increasing the crime rate.
This guys a genius.
I don’t know why they bother even saying it now, it’s as known and as expected as the sun rising tomorrow.
If it was that easy to curb welfare spending why wasn’t this done already? Ffs, Tories gonna Tory I guess
This is ridiculous. The layabouts aren’t about to suddenly wake up and decide to contribute.
Tax the rich like yourself. Leave the rest of us alone asshole.
So the triple lock is suspended this year and we have saved £10b in the budget right…
Right… right…

*… the Tories’ reluctance [on ending the non-dom exemption] is partly fuelled by embarrassment over Akshata Murty (aka Mrs Rishi Sunak), who until 2022 enjoyed the “non-dom” perk of not paying UK tax on her substantial non-UK dividend income as the daughter of one of India’s richest men. There are also many Tory donors to consider.*

14 years they have been running election campaigns based on the same rubbish lol.
So anti-socialist policies? I’m sure this isn’t going to cause issues for wealth inequality and continue the monopoly on wealth to the rich (accelerating the issue that they fuck off the moment things get dicey, something the working/middle class can’t really do)

My mother worked sixteen hours six days a week
My mother worked seventeen hours seven days a week
The best way to scare a Tory is to read and get rich

Starting with scrapping the Triple Lock? Or just cuts targeting people who don’t turn out to vote in high numbers?
If people depend on welfare spending because of your poor previous decisions and you cut that, how do you think that manifests Mr Sunak? Do you think people summon more money out of their wife’s Russian account, or do you think they just resort to more desperate methods of getting money in the moment. Answer quickly.
Make the plebs pay more for less, the Tory way. I cannot believe that this is a viable political party.
They’re in full on smash-and-grab mode now, trying to cause as much damage to the country as possible while handing a few farewell gifts to their crony donors/big business mates.
I know a disabled person. They have no ability to increase their income. They struggle to heat their home and are suicidal. We help as much as we can but are struggling ourselves. This is not just callous it’s cruelty foe the sake of cruelty.
