Terrestrial radio never moved with the times. They syndicated themselves out of the local markets and are now left with very few listeners. It’s sad to see how greedy corporations killed radio only to claim bankruptcy and not really face any financial consequences. I feel for those who will be made redundant after this announcement, unfortunately already started right at Christmas time.
Well, when all of your stations in any single market play the same 30 songs, none of which are any good, you make yourself irrelevant….. this company has made Spotify what it is today.
