I just saw “Mise au point” tonight and it seems that we are going to pay on top of the 472K already a 4300 CHF swiss ski pass to our federal councilors. It was given back then by the Ski resort directly but it was revoked because it’s viewed as bribery.
I don’t know about yourself, but with the health insurance increase every year, the TVA in 2024 and now those kinf of bu\*\*sh\*t I’m feed up to see that we just “Chrug” shoulders and continue to pay and pay and pay.
There’s a difference for sure between politicians and federal councilors, but It seems that something was already attempted to break the link between politicians and Health insurances ([https://www.letemps.ch/suisse/une-initiative-veut-chasser-caisses-maladie-parlement](https://www.letemps.ch/suisse/une-initiative-veut-chasser-caisses-maladie-parlement)) unfortunately, I didn’t find the result.
But I mean, aren’t there people who know how to create a referendum or a popular initiative and want to help and try to change how our politics work? Those people who are elected by us should be in my opinion more entitled to transparency. I understand that regular politicians are doing this for free, but in my opinion, there should not be the possibility for politicians to receive any money from a company or anything else it could be viewed as a “conflict of interest” and result in politicians being elected by people not representing the people anymore.
How many times will people still swallow this sh\*t before we start to change something? Let’s start with stopping Health insurance and Pharma from bribing our politicians and maybe this will open something bigger with time.
