I saw this and thought, “What a coincidence, I was just reading about someone whose boyfriend had a Megalodon tooth…”
My kid is impressed and now convinced there’s megalodon’s ‘in real life’ 🤣
So this is actually from Otodus Obliquus – it’s like the great, great, great, great, great ancestor to the megalodon!
Looks like a sharks tooth for me. Megalodon teeth usually are fossilized to the point being dark colour. I’m not an expert and can be wrong though
That’s just a shark tooth. Got one too, not to brag but it’s even bigger than that. lol
Bought one of these at a market once – Bloody massive, can just barely fit in my hand.
I did a double take here. I didn’t have my glasses on, and thought you’d dropped your ice-cream!
It’s a bit worrying as to why he had one in the first place. Has he seen a dentist?
