  4. Don’t they normally get well known people to host these awards? Never even heard of this person and had to Google who that even was (not that I know everyone just that everyone who has ever hosted awards are really well known that everyone knows.)

  8. Either you hire a host at the start or several months in advance, or you go without a host. Clearly, booking one last-minute, as evidenced by last year as well as this, doesn’t work.

  32. My biggest question is: why do they keep having the Golden Globes? Wasn’t there a huge corruption scandal about them or something the other day? That basically those awards are worthless? Why are they televising them again and why are high profile celebrities still showing up?

  33. The rush to ‘[insert celebrity] is here tonight’ was so painful because he would say that when he knew his joke bombed. I know that most hosts/stand ups will do this (I think), but it was extra noticeable when he did it

  34. The whole monologue was so boring, cringy and I know Ricky gervais getting the flak for his takes but his monologue were A+ and let’s not forget the legendary tina fey and amy pohler those guys did it so much better than whatever last night was.

  38. I have been saying this for years,Jo Koy sucks at comedy his only jokes that land are those about being Filipino. Anything else sucks.
