  1. Ehh it’s a Sunday, good tank # though for being a slow day.

  2. I hope the “low” Ruzzian loses mean those at the front should have a relatively quiet day to prepare and relax a wee bit.

  3. 440, must be the lowest it’s been in a long time.

  4. big UA push in Novomykhailivka (south of Mariinka). i think this was a long term effort, because a huge chunk of an area moved from under the ork control into a grey zone. so it’s not yet definitive that UA established a ground there, but there’s an evidence, that UA has its presence in the area. the push is 2 km deep into ork territory, so it isn’t a sudden “rush” either, that’s why i think it was a long term effort which is now in stage of consolidation of the positions (the grey zone might turn blue as is, might shrink -most probable, or expand).

Avdiivka holds, but it seems like the orks are trying a new vector in Pervomaiske. they made some gains over there from Pisky along the road.

Robotyne stands. there’s even been a correction of controlled land in UA’s favour.

Yutub brought first update from Bakhmut this year. he took over the updates from Kyianin, you may remember the gentleman from the start of the war (shaved head, doing videos from car), one of the first who did such thing and always had ENG subtitles. he’s very honest and also critical to UA command, when criticism is deserved.

Vasylivka, Kurdyumivka, Andriivka and Klishchiivka hold firm. this is the area controlled mainly by Yutub’s brigade (93rd). Bohdanivka and Ivanivske -orks are attempting to advance to Chasiv Yar, which is the next big settlement west of Bakhmut. the area is very contested.

Yutub makes always some collections for either his brigade or other guys that are on the Bakhmut front. currently, they’re collecting funds for drones. besides UA banks, it’s also possible to contribute via PayPal. if possible, donate something, it trickles in as their supporter base is vast so every penny can make a difference. and Bakhmut direction is very challenging, because orks have there momentum. info in video description. also, his channel is very active and has ENG subtitles. totally worth following. https://youtu.be/v1rFBB93N1o

  5. God I hope it’s the Ruzz sitting still and not the UA boys running out of steam.

  6. There is always a couple of anti aircraft, but they can not all be the big expensive systems, so what else does that category cover?

  7. The number of Russian army attacks was somewhat lower yesterday, but generally remains at the level of last week.

    – In the Svatove and Severodonetsk direction, the activity of Russian forces has further decreased, with only a few isolated attacks carried out towards Kupiansk. The pause is likely due to the failed attacks that ended with heavy losses, and new attacks are expected to begin after replenishing with reserves.

    – Near Bakhmut, the activity of the Russian army is low, and isolated attack attempts have not brought changes to the situation.

    – In the Donetsk area, Russian forces’ activity is slightly lower than in previous days, but attacks in the Avdiivka and Marinka areas are continuous, without breaks. No major changes in the situation have occurred.

    – On the southern front, the Russian army conducted some unsuccessful attacks in the Tokmak area. The Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions on the east bank of the Dnipro very actively, but without results.

According to the Ukrainian army, they destroyed a railway bridge near Mariupol yesterday, which the Russian army was trying to build to create a direct railway connection to Mariupol from Russia. Also hit were a number of engineering vehicles and fuel trucks. A major media campaign was organized last spring about this new railway construction.

  8. To give a ‘slow day’ some comparison; 440 is still 2.5 Alaska Airlines 737 plane loads of people.

  9. And where is Putin? …
Pump that kill count, slava Ukraine.

  10. Do we know anything about how many russia are losing to the cold? Trenches, bad uniforms, shitty food, vodka. It must be a significant number.
