I have to say its pretty morbid that you are dying in a trench and a mouse uses you as a ladder to get out. And most likely the mouse came back for a meal.
After seeing that video of russians shooting the rats that their filthy trenches were attracting, or the mouse they glued to an FPV drone, at least there’s one tiny innocent thing in Ukraine that these freaks can’t destroy for a brief moment.

Based on the size of the body vs. the length of the tail I’d say that’s a rat. Probably a deaf rat by now, but at least it’s got plenty of food for the winter.
