Government claims it will be “Net Zero” but they actually mean “We were gonna burn coal anyway this will just be locally sourced coal”. Actually maybe it will be net negative since we won’t have as many emmissions transporting the coal in from overseas. Really emblamatic of the problem with “Net Zero” claims, what they usually mean is “No worse than it would have been if we’d done nothing”.
