I am looking at venues for a small wedding celebration with around 40 guests in the canton of Vaud and surroundings (geneve, fribourg, western valais, etc.).
We would like to have a quiet place in nature, with a nice outdoor area surrounded by forest or with a view of the mountains to do the ceremony. ideally somewhat remote, or at least it should feel like it 😉
Do you know of any good places that could offer that? The usual places that are advertised as wedding venues are often in cities or busy built-up areas, or only cater to large weddings.

So far we have also considered Portes des Iris, Domaine de la Capitainerie, Le Castel de Bois Genoud, but were not yet convinced by them due to different reasons.
Does anyone know any additional venue that we could consider? It can be also like a cabin or lodge or something similar, doesn’t have to be a place explicitly advertised for weddings. As long as there is a kitchen so that we can bring a traiteur.
