Ukrainian authorities said that 230 Ukrainian prisoners of war returned home on Wednesday in the first exchange in almost five months.

Russia’s defense ministry said that 248 Russian servicemen had been freed under the deal sponsored by the United Arab Emirates.

  1. I’m glad to see that the prisoner exchange program is working again. russia has been refusing for some time now.

  3. Country is being bled white. See how old some of those guys are? (even acounting for the rapid aging that comes from front line service).

  4. Looks like Zelensky's manpower shortage prayers have been answered. He'll have those Ukrainian POW back on the frontlines tomorrow.

  5. Are there both Russians and Ukrainians in the video? ( I do know there are many russians living in ukraine and viceversa)

  6. Seeing the condition in which Russia returns Ukraine prisoners makes me hate these bloody muscovites even more. Ukranians are humane and take good care of war prisoners, russians on the other hand are monsters. Slava Ukraine!

  8. Sad to see them in a worse state of health then the Russians they were exchanged for. Please compel a video of both and note that the Russians left their airplane in brand new, and same style, army gear. Ready to go back to the trenches.

  10. – In March 2022, Ukraine did not sign the draft peace agreements with Russia in Istanbul by decree of the United States of America.
    – On September 30, 2022, Zelensky signed a decree on the impossibility of negotiations with Putin.

These are not steps towards a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
