His son, Hamza Wael al-Dahdouh, also a journalist for Al Jazeera, died alongside Mustafa Thuria, a freelance video journalist for AFP. They were killed while travelling in a car between Rafah and western Khan Younis, according to AFP. Wael al-Dahdouh was recently wounded in a strike, and lost his wife and two of his children in attacks in the initial weeks of the war in Gaza. According to the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists, at least 77 journalists and media workers have been killed since the conflict started.

  1. The Palestinians killed over 37 innocent Asian workers and Asian care givers when they attacked Israel in 2023.
Al Jazzera is payed by Qatar. These journalists supported Palestine and Hamas. They never talked about the victims of the terrorists from Gaza. The Palestinians didn't care about karma.

  2. Shame on US and UN….specially USA they went against cease fire and sent a tons of guns and money taxes to israel….israel is manupilating USA

  3. Notice his behaviour is claim and guilty? I can sense the guilt in this man.. He isnt directly responsible for his own loss, but he knows he could have done more and he didnt..

  4. And how were they killed? Sitting in a car with a terrorist. One was a freelance photographer for Hamas. The terrorist was a danger for the IDF. So if you are a journalist or whatever and you want to be in the frontline then this is exactly what can happen.
