My wife got a letter today from the DWP about her statutory maternity pay. Apparently due to new rules she should be entitled to back pay for this as well. I wonder if this is part of the same issue?
Yeah im sure they’ll be putting a lot of effort into finding people they owe money to
> administration exercise
That doesn’t give out much confidence.
I will believe when I see it.
Chances are they will find a small handful of people just so they can say “See, we are the good guys” and then that will be it.
Considering the sheer amount of people they forced to go to tribunals every year I expect nothing from the cunts.
DWP: due to the recent case, you are now due 15,000.
Also the DWP: Due to your recent payment of 15,000, we have decreed you will not require funds for the next 3 years. We will also be requiring you to backpay monies from the previous 3 years.
If you wish to lodge an objection to this decision, the relevant department can be reached after 348456 hours on the phone. Alternatively, you can visit in person and lodge your complaint in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.”
Have a good day, we at the DWP take your concerns seriously. Now listen to yet more fucking [Four Seasons](https://youtu.be/vvJ9IbBrMMU?t=190) until you are ready to commit murder.
Interestingly over Christmas after a long talk with my mum who’s also the mental health sector they decided to give me full pip (150pw)and a chunky backdate after scoring me 0 out of 40 on the initial disability assessment.
They are just really bad with Mental disabilitys in every regard .
Wonder how many of the eligible claimants either had their payments stopped or died since 2016
I applied for PIP on the 15th March 2021 and I’m still going through the process.
They’re a shitshow.
