I’m happy about things like this being adressed, yet fail to see what the advert is trying to achieve. Steffen (and people like him) are probably aware. They have heard that there is help available, and either have tried looking for smth like therapy, or have not in which case this is not going to change much. Is it aimed at other people, to be more mindful of depression? In that case I wonder what the image is saying – if you see someone on the train, assume they are not feeling well? Offer help? Dont tell stories loudly about how depression is not a real thing? People are also aware of depression, and like the text says – its not easy to recognise. Consequently, should they assume that every person they come across might have depression? In what way am I meant to adjust my behaviour, whether I’m in Steffens shoes, or my own?
I’d be depressed too if I had to use the train
Idk, Steffen looks happy and smiling
Steffen is my favourite co-worker. We always cheer each other up and we both know why.
Now I’m depressed because Steffen is depressed 🙁
Stefan reads only Tv script or Facebook only. Get a book instead every month and wipe away the fear roaring around.
Average German after telling a joke be like:
Oh man, thats really good and in a smart way made.

“Man up Steffen” – most people

Steffen should buy himself a nice car.
reminds me of [Norwich City F. C.’s world mental health day campaign](https://youtu.be/tX8TgVR33KM?si=1jNhmg2Bc79HHgz7)
Oh, that is very clever, actually. Very effective way of conveying that it’s not always easy to tell that someone is struggling.
Well done, German campaign.
Okay this ad is well made
Nice that they closed to present old men. In many campaigns about depression there are only sad, pretty girls
Don’t be like Steffen, make sure you turned off your gas stove before leaving house.
Nein Steffen:(
“Aber Herr Doktor, Ich bin Pagliacci” 😔
Ok? Steffen is depressed, what are we supposed to do about it
