Despite repeated statements by Governor Andrei Vorobyov about improving the heating situation in apartment buildings in the microdistrict, local residents are still freezing in their apartments. 🥶🥶🥶❄️ This evening, residents of the Klimovsk microdistrict shared footage of burning electrical wires. Freezing residents are using electrical appliances in hopes of heating their homes, thereby overloading the electrical grid. ⚡🥶❄️🔥

  2. All of this wasn’t even done by Ukrainians, even though they are in their rights to attack Russian energy infrastructure. This was because of Russian incompetence. Residents were saying that the infrastructure in Podolsk is nearly 70 years old and is in desperate need of overhaul, but the government needs missiles and drones for a stupid war

  5. Cascading failures. One thing breaks or is damaged putting more load on other parts of the system resulting in thier failure until nothing works. Once pipes freeze and break or just block with ice you can not repair easily so again the problems compound for poor Moscow.

  8. Most of those commie blocks in Russia don’t even have proper isolation. Bare reinforced concrete + shitty windows, as well as centrally operated heating system that can freeze and break. Not a fun place to be in winter..
