  3. Why not just try to surrender to the drone? He’s by himself in the middle of nowhere.

  6. I absolutely don’t understand these Russian soldiers. They are often seen sleeping in the middle of nowhere in the dead of winter, out in the open, they don’t seem to have a strategy to at least protect themselves.

I like watching shit go boom from a distance, especially armoured vehicles, because that distance is dehumanising, often we don’t even see the people that (hopefully) have a quick death in those vehicles. I hate videos like this that get super close up on an individual, watching them struggle and die, invaders or not. I’ll watch it, because I try to understand the pain of the individual, and its fucking horrific.

    Watching armour get blown up is entertainment. Watching people get blown up and slowly dying demonstrates the hell of war that I hope to never experience firsthand.

  10. He’s not pretending anymore… This is one of the few cases where you don’t want to fake it till you make it.

  11. It pains me that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has sapped out of me a part that would have felt pity or remorse watching videos like this. But it’s become clear that the only way Ukraine gains its freedom is by killing as many young Russian men as possible. That’s the only math left in this war. I should feel a little bad for these soldiers dying helpless in a ditch. I don’t. If a hundred or a thousand of them need to die like this to save a single Ukrainian life, so be it. The man dying here is either a murderer or was tasked to be one.

  28. Every time I see these, I immediately think of my boys. They’re only 5 and 11 but the thought of them being in a situation like this tears me apart. Dying alone, in a field, away from the ones they love, for absolutely no reason. I realize they are the invading body but I’ll bet most of them didn’t volunteer to be there and everyone in this conflict deserves better as a human being.
