I watched it earlier, and it’s one of the most frustrating interviews I’ve seen. Ashcroft said nothing of substance, refused to answer a direct question no matter how many times he was asked, and just repeated completely false allegations against Biden. They all think they’re being so clever when they engage in this behavior, and all they prove is that they’re liars, bad liars, and idiots.
The confederate officials weren’t adjudicated as having been part of the confederacy were they? I don’t think so. I think they just banned them from holding office going forward.

Side note: I love how Ashcroft was genuinely surprised that another state’s constitution was different than his, and seemed to think that if Maine’s Secretary of State could act in such a way, that he should be able to as well…even though that’s not what Missouri’s state constitution says. Maybe he should familiarize himself with his own state’s constitution before spouting off about things which he seems to actually know very little about.

A: Donald Trump has not been convicted. I don’t know my own state’s process. I don’t know anything about the process in Colorado or Maine. But they are both wrong and the Supreme Court will tell them that. Or, else.
They live in a manufactured reality completely devoid of facts. Just like the election, I recommend reading the boring court documents. One of the things democracies have that other countries don’t is public court records. There is no biased reporting or spin. Google can help with some of the legalize but then all your YouTube suggestions turn to Legal Eagle and lawyers in cars refusing to identify themselves to cops.

This is the way politicians should be handled when being questioned. If they want to use the media to promote themselves then they had better be prepared to demonstrate competence or suffer the consequences.
