3. The EU gives Hungary the power to block the funding to Ukraine for each year. That’s too much leverage given to Hungary.

4. Didn’t they already agreed to support something before only to block or backtrack the agreement at the last minute after they got what they wanted from the EU?

5. Hungary plays by Russian rules. They only understand power and leverage. This isn’t about politics, this is about EU security. Speak a language they understand. Sponsor messaging to remind Hungarians what happened Nov 1,1956. Remind them Russian army tanks are less than 24h away. Declare them a pariah state based on official government positions. Make meaningful efforts to restrict trade and people flow. Initiate proceedings to remove Hungary from EU rather than try to negotiate with them. Best defense is a good offense.
