As stated in the below article, the speed in the Gousselerbierg (close to Mersch) was suddenly reduced from 90km/h to 70km/h.

As I drive through the same tunnel every day I assumed the speed limit was the same as usual. However, when exiting the tunnel I could see that every single car in front of me starting getting flashed including mine!

The reason for the sudden decrease in the speed limit was a ‘water leak’.

I got flashed the 22nd December 2023 but I haven’t received any fine yet.

Have any of you also been flashed there and what is the delay of fine issuance?

  1. What time was that?
Cos as news say 10:00 today.
So if it was before : bad luck

There is literally a speed marker every 30m on both sides inside the tunnel.

Regarding the fines, you never know, if they took the effort to adjust the cameras to detect 70km/h then they might have an intention of fining people but again it depends. Keep your fingers crossed.

  3. They had already limited the speed the 20th December.

If you got flashed and there’s no error with the readings you’ll get the fine eventually.
