Hello everyone!
Can anyone help me understand what am i supposed to do here? So i woke up and saw that someone vandalized and broke the sideview mirror of my car. The pieces were all over the place and looking closely its clear that it was done on purpose. No one saw it happen and no cameras either.
Considering this, i just want to know if its worth going to the police or should i just get a new one? Any advice would be appreciated.

Should still file a police report. You wouldn’t know if police arrested someone close by for doing that to other cars as well. Always file a police report even if you don’t know the one responsible.
You definitely should go to the Police & at least get it reported so that you get a official copy from them. Use that copy to submit to your insurance provider & they can reimburse the cost.
