It’s an absolute non-topic in France. Most of us learned of his sexual orientation from international media or international social media (Like this very Reddit post) . We don’t care.
The guy has never held a real job of his life.
He was privately educated, chosen to be a civil service adviser just as he left school without having to have an interview. Got pushed very quickly to ministerial jobs.
The guy has always been rich, never had to worry about anything. Never had to interview for a job. Has been chosen very early to be a future president.
He is completely disconnected from the real world, and will continue the perpetual cycle of serving the elites while providing the illusion of democracy.
I actually didn’t know he was gay, not that it changes anything. Maybe he will push for surrogacy rights in France with some luck, as it is currently banned for everyone.

And I wish we could make it so our education stops degrading itself and for the teachers’ salaries to get a raise
