What does it say? Are they exchanging Kimmich for just Mukiele?
I think Kimmich knows he is better than PSG (he could easily go to City instead).
The problem with the PSG deal, is that they’re going to make an offer that Bayern will not be able to match. Even if he doesn’t go to PSG, other clubs like City or Barca (they’re broke, but, magic palancas), could match PSG’s offer and he could go there or try using these offers to make Bayern increase his already huge wakes.
Kimmich already makes 375k euros a week. I think a renewal for more than that amount would be way too much for what he’s been offering. So big bucks + Mukiele may not be a terrible deal for Bayern, or whatever City has to offer.
Considering he’s been having a hard time fitting in the system, and that he already makes so much money that it’s difficult or even questionable for Bayern to pay him more, it may be a good time both for him and Bayern to part ways. I think he already gave his best to the club, and he is not going to become a better player than what we’ve already seen.
