Came across this vandalized tree in the woods of central Norway. Does anyone know what was responsible? ( please don’t say a troll). No reindeer in the vicinity so I guess it must be moose or bear? Thanks by RavefromtheGrave56 Tags:norway 7 comments About a thousand years too late to blame vikings, Finns, and Sami. Deers are likely culprits. Bark beetles too. However, I expect this particular one to be trolls. Definitely trolls. They’re known to make Bark Bread. Deer Both deer and moose will eat tree bark during winter, when there isn’t much else to eat. Especially when it’s heavy snow. How far up the tree-trunk was this? Trolls. Could be an Abbath? Manbearpig. 100% Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
