*God* how much I loathe this man and these twisty bullshit remarks. Did he forget how much money from that went to extra costs due to the uber-high inflation in that period? The extra fuel costs and wages? Of course he doesn’t, he just doesn’t want to mention that. Was there *technically* a budget cut? No. But did De Lijn get enough money to increase its quality of service? No, not either. If anything the quality of service is getting worse over the years, with this big route reform the most clear indicator yet.
Christ if even OpenVLD is calling for more money how obvious can it be at that point?
Ik weet ook niet wiens stem ze hopen te winnen met dit soort dingen. Ik heb een hekel aan openbaar vervoer maar de voordelen van hier meer in te investeren wijzen zichzelf toch uit?
