  1. Dude the title doesn’t do this video justice.

    That’s some crazy footage.

  2. Crazy video. Title should be “Brutal battle to the death inside a house”.

  3. if the bodies dont have birth certificates saying they are adult and their hamas end of course certification how can we know these werent civilians?

  4. Those 4 guys at 9 seconds in were just taking a smoke break

  5. That IDF soldier at the beginning had what we call a “Pucker Factor “ moment

    I judge it a Factor of 10

  6. “According to the IDF, Hamas operatives opened fire from several buildings where the 101st Battalion was operating. The paratroopers called in airstrikes and tank shelling against the buildings, killing many of the gunmen.

The soldiers then entered the buildings to scan for any potentially surviving operatives. In one of the buildings, at least two gunmen were still holed up, the IDF says.

The soldiers battled the remaining Hamas fighters, killing them.

Seven soldiers of the battalion were wounded, and a dog of the Oketz canine unit was killed in the fighting, the IDF says.”

    Times of Israel journalist. ^

  7. A few notes:

    1. considering the soldiers location in the room (from both side of the door) it seems that the hamas guys moved in to the building *after* the soldiers and did not wait for them (or moved from a different floor)

2.The soldier in yelling “rimon” (grenade) to communicate that *he* is throwing a graned but we can’t hear it explode then a grenade is thrown towards the soldiers and expolode immediately, i believe that the Hamas guy throw their grenade back at them.

    3. As usual, the IDF cut the good bits (the killing)

  8. Really novel use of drones (to me) in house to house fighting – hadn’t occurred to me before. Could take a lot of the ‘blind corner’ danger out of the equation.

  9. Althought not specifically pointed out in the video, you can see at the 0:43 mark that the second “child” also had a weapon

  10. This is some hardcore stuff, but also very intriguing.

Because from young I’ve never actually known what house-to-house combat would actually look like, especially from the more notable historical examples from the Eastern Front (WW2). Now we have somewhat of a glimpse of what those of old went through, albeit, through a more modern lens.

  11. Both IDF and the terrorist’s were exchanging grenades, It seems that the terrorists had some improvized grenades

  12. Anyone know what drone is used? Looks like some sort of quadruped

Edit: now I’ve watched it again you can see the elevation change towards the bottom of stairs, so probably not a quadruped.

  13. This is literally what people do in rainbow six siege with drones. Crazy seeing it in real life now

  14. Also notice the holes cut near the floor at 0:16. Those are used to launch rockets at the civilian population in Israel.

  15. more info about this encounter:

During an offensive activity of the 101st Battalion Combat Team, terrorists opened fire from buildings in the area. The fighters directed airstrikes and tank attacks to eliminate the terrorists. After that, the fighters carried out scans in the area in order to rule out the presence of additional terrorists. As part of scanning one of the buildings, the fighters of the 101st Battalion encountered terrorists barricaded in the building. The fighters strived for contact and eliminated the terrorists who were deployed in the area. During the encounter, a stinging dog was killed and seven fighters were injured in various ways.

  16. Some Fallujah type shit. I understand the war in the Ukraine, but this one I still don’t see the logical end game
