No, of course he didn’t.

John Adams was convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl and didn’t point to Kelly until a long time after the event. Kelly was found not guilty in 1987.
I’m sure I watched Great Escapes with Morgan Freeman. Kelly is actually on camera talking about it himself.

The prison officer himself testified that it was Kelly who shot him. There is no reason for him to lie, Kelly was already condemned to life imprisonment anyway for bombing the Old Bailey so it’s not like they needed to try and set him up for more time, in fact Kelly is quoted as saying to Prison Officer Adams before shooting him…
“I have nothing to lose, you know what I’m in for.”
And sure Kelly and his other accomplices for years held evenings in some hall where they would regale young men with their criminality and what they did during the escape, for £10 a head.

Gerry Kelly, I have had the haunting pleasure of meeting him twice, once in the wild and once for junior politician thing in Stormont. Both times that man stared through me and he has the weirdest quiet demeanour that puts you on edge. I don’t want to label but he has some characteristics shall we say, made me feel a little uneasy. That man has probably seen, agreed to many things. I’m a big taig btw so no this isn’t Jamie.
He tips the poll in North Belfast so either people don’t care, are okay with what he did or he’s a good mla.

Of course he shot him. When he’s in places like carrickmore trying to flog his book he’s bragging about it being the big man. But when a journalist confronts him on the radio its away crying to his lawyer about reputation.
You see the thing about the SF/IRA murder and paedo gang is that they have told that many lies and untruths they start believing all the lies themselves.
Thank goodness the judge stood up and made the right call stating Kelly has not much of a ” reputation ” to begin with.
