First Westminster and Wales pledge to bring in laws restricting the breeding and buying of XL bullies.
The ‘ban’ comes into effect by the end of February 2024 but is announced near the end of 2023
SNP does the classic SNP move of refusing to adopt the law Westminster puts forward.
Literally hundreds of XL bullies are taken from England to re-home in Scotland.
Hamza says “Scotland doesn’t need a ban on XL bullies”
People consider moving to Scotland so that they can keep their killing machines.
Experts have likely warned the SNP that the optics will be terrible for them when inevitably these things end up maiming toddlers
The SNP U-Turn and suggest they will adopt similar laws, but because they still have to appear to have got one-up on Westminster, the ban will actually come into effect sooner than in England (we are here)
Next up we will probably see Scotland’s dog shelters being overrun, these things will be abandoned en-mass. Owners will abandon their plans to move there.
I knew the U-turn would come. It was just a question of whether people would have to be killed by these things first.
