  1. dysfunctional clown show, and they won’t lose a single voter

  2. What, are they just going to fly a Kremlin agent over to the US to run the House next?

  3. Kak·i·sto·cra·cy

    /kakəˈstäkrəsē/

    Noun

    1. Government by the least suitable or competent citizens of a state.

*”The danger is that this will reduce us to kakistocracy.”*

    2. A state or society governed by its least suitable or competent citizens.

  4. Are Republicans enough to boot another Speaker in an election year? Yes, yes they are.

  5. They are determined to give the house back to the dems. All of this just blew up in their faces, and now they plot to do it again?

  6. Why did anyone think this would end? At this rate, the House Republican caucus might as well elect some right-wing TV news anchor to become Speaker of the House. Not saying that they would do that, but anything can happen.

I’m guessing this is because Mike Johnson doesn’t want to demand in the budget to privatize Social Security and Medicare. That he is “too weak” when negotiating with Biden and the Democrats.

  7. So tiring. They have a tiny majority and want act like have super majorities in both houses and presidency.

Ah to get paid so much running on govt doesn’t work and then breaking it when you get there.

  8. Who can they get who is more extreme?

    Ivan the Terrible? Nero?

  9. He’s MAGA, he’s a fundementalist Christian, loves Trump, despises the gays, election denier, sends his porn search history to his son and the far right of the GOP is still not satisfied. That’s all their favorite things

  10. Lolz, republicans.

Masturbation-buddie Mike was their 4th (?) choice and no he too isn’t solid enough? Who will be next to go through 15 rounds of voting? Handjob Granny? Empty G? Some other radical bible thumper?

  11. Git out the big bowl of popcorn the GOP is gonna shit the bed again

  12. What do they have, a 3-4 vote majority now with expulsions and retirements? Not a good prospect if they toss Johnson and have to all come together as a unit. A few unexpected absences and their clown car could end up in a ditch with the Ds holding the gavel. Not probable, but certainly not impossible.

  13. This is what happens when you have a party that has no will to govern or compromise and only want to rule. The Freedom Caucus will not agree with anything outside of their demands, and the GOP have empowered them tremendously to cripple any progress or governing whatsoever. It is their way or burn the whole thing down, their supporters say they want to shut the government down, that it would be a good thing.

  14. Tree full of treason monkeys continues to fling shit. Who would have guessed?

  15. Rather destroy the country they proclaim to love than let a Democrat get a perceived win…..

  16. Can only hope. The closer this country gets to a Dem super majority, the better. The dysfunction on display with the domestic terrorist party only helps us in that direction.

  17. Nancy Pelosi: “Fucking amateur hour over here.”

  18. Well, at this rate they’ll be booted out of the majority before they run through the entire membership… but it’ll be close.

  19. who else they going to put up as speaker? they’ll probably rattle their sabers over this up until the election.

  20. Mike was screwed the minute word got out he took a meeting with Paul Ryan.

  21. I love how the GOP is beholden to a small-ish group of fascists and are too afraid of their own base but also want to beat the Dems at any cost to do anything about it.

As a Canadian, watching the shitshow that is American politics is entertaining.

Until you guys devolve into open civil war and it drags us down, too.

But, until then, *grabs thousandth bag of popcorn

  22. What… do they just want the government to go under at this point? And why don’t they just advise their speaker of that?

  23. Just waiting for their religio-faccist regime to normalize self-immolation. A problem that solves itself.

  24. This is a really great way to ensure that none of them ever actually have to do their jobs. Peak laziness

  25. They better be careful our he’ll whip out his staff and it will turn into a snake and hiss at them! 👀

  26. Remember when politics was about compromise? Now it’s just scorched earth.

  27. True to form Republicans will Dump him and put an even worse shithead in his place. The GOP have so many incompetent scum bags to choose from it should be no problem for them.

  28. We had first vacating the chair, but what about second vacating the chair?

  29. Honestly, this guy scares the living shit out of me. Infighting is great, but having this guy 2 heartbeats away from the Presidency has been wearing on my mental health, so whatever it takes to send this guy back under a rock.

  30. The Republican Party has become unfit to govern. They have turned into right wing influencers who are more concerned with making spectacles to get attention than with doing their jobs!

  31. Between this and all the Republicans that are currently resigning early Hakeem Jeffries will be Speaker before the end of the year.

  32. They cut $10B from the IRS budget, thereby making it so much easier for the rich and wealthy to get away with cheating on their taxes… What more do they want from a single deal?

  33. And let’s not forget that they are wasting time we are only 10 months away from the most crucial and critical election in history and yet The Republicans are short with 2 votes because with McCarthy retiring Santos expelled and 2 others are leaving it’s clear that this 118th congress is the most ungovernable we have seen

Plus Mike Johnson was the one who invited President Biden to speak at STOTU Address on March 7th And now they will spend the months to find a decent speaker they might as well hand it over to Hakeem Jeffries because this Republican Party is the most wreckless party we saw since the moment Trump came down off the escalator!
