  4. US is running the same playbook as Israel did with Iron Dome. Shoot down the missiles, don’t retaliate, retaliation is bad PR. That works until it doesn’t.

  9. For the US Navy, they practice this in war exercises. Better to see how our fleet and technology performs in the field.

    How far our technology has come, that we routinely intercept and safely explode missiles midair.

  10. So… Can’t we just see where these are launched from and insta turn to dust anything around? I’m always a little confused by this. I know the rockets are hidden and such, but don’t we have IR, drones or satellites that can pin point where something is fired from? Or is that too much movie mumbo jumbo?
    Like if there was something overhead watching it all, wouldn’t a missile launch be a pretty easy thing to pick up? A sudden burst of energy or heat?
