Pretty normal. President’s party will always move to prevent congress for forcing hand. Doesn’t mean that Nord Stream 2 wont get sanctioned, just means that Biden is free to do whatever he wants and is not constrained by congress.

Except for the Nord Stream 2 company is 100% owned by Kremlin-controlled Gazprom and run by Matthias Warnig, a fat, corrupt former East German (DDR) Stasi officer that used to do dirty deeds with Putin in the 1980s
Gazprom is completely government controlled and clearly a political weapon of the first magnitude
Who is the German company involved, NS2, which is 100% owned by Gazprom?
I thought with the new government Volkswagen & Mercedes Benz weren’t running the country anymore 🙄
