Bottled water contains thousands of nanoplastics so small they can invade the body’s cells, study says

  1. Are people really surprised by that? As if micro was the smallest possible scale plastic stays at.

  2. I run my tap water through 2 filter containers before drinking or cooking with it. I doubt that’s enough to catch the plastics.

Using that tap water, my humidifier cakes up with deposits so thick I have to scrape it clean every few months. Not so easy to scrape the linings of my digestive system, tho’.

  3. I’d imagine all factory produced beverages have plastics in the beverage. Sound like we just gotta go back to glass, ceramics, or viking horns.
