From the article: “We don’t think about political events; we don’t think about politics. We think about what’s the right thing to do for the economy,” Powell said in December.
Replacing Powell was the right decision then, and its the right decision now, no matter that Trump “tolerates” both these two can go for a long walk on a short pier.
Not even Melania cares what Trump thinks or says, what makes you think Powell would pay any attention?
