  1. An exceptional utility helicopter. I have been a passenger aboard the Huey, Blackhawk and Chinook and all provided excellent theater transportation.

  2. Umm, we never had Huey’s in Australia. Even though they’re the same thing, we referred to them as Iroquois.

    I miss all the old aircraft we would see from the school yard. Iroquois, Chinook’s, F-111’s, Hercule’s and so on.

    It was a sad day (for me) when they decommissioned the F-111’s. 🙁

    EDIT: But yeah, during the Vietnam conflict, I dare say most of our lads were transported in US aircraft, Huey’s in this case.
