Yes, and that would be okay. Then Russia would basically do what NATO is doing in Eastern Europe. So the West should not object to Russian deployments in Cuba and Venezuela, provided that those deployment have the consent of those countries. An advantage would also be that it stretches Russia’s finances even further.
A Russian diplomat is asked “Will Russia deploy missiles in Cuba?”
The diplomat replies that he does not want to confirm or refute such a statement.
The American media write that “Russia is bringing missiles to Cuba!”
