  1. HONESTLY PLEASE..NO ONE CARES !!! everyone is too engulfed by the hardships of life right now to give a damn about any silly old bag on her throne.

  2. I feel that she is making the correct choice , her son can go to his mother for advice should he need to in the next few years . This way his mother can relax and slow down in her later years , it's a little bit like retiring from public life and her health problems will get worse as time goes on . The Duke of Edinburgh did the same and spent more time with family and his wife until his time was up , this way her Majesty Queen of Denmark can enjoy life with her family members .

  3. Royals are a totally pointless institution in this day and age. Government preach equality in so many aspects of life, yet cling on to this archaic ideology of a family being better than everyone else just because of what they're born into. So, so wrong.

  4. I worked with hundreds of Danes over the years and not one sounded like this lady when speaking English, she sounds like she was educated in England. I hope she can enjoy her time relaxing now.👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  5. Ahhh so sweet. For anyone that isn't educated on the subject…..all European Royal households are related, and as such the Royals of each European nation state (those of which still up hold the royal tradition) are members of a much larger Royal family of Europa. The former queen of Denmark, for example, was a relative of not only Queen Elizabeth 2 but also her Corfiut Husband and former Heir to the throne of Greece (obvs prior to the Greek absolution) The Duke of Edinburgh Prince Phillip.

  6. Can’t really blame her honestly: she’s been doing the job 52 years, recently had a major health issue and is well past the age of retirement. She’s allowed to decide she wants a rest.

  7. Wish the UKs King would abdicate after he’s paid the taxes he owes on the Dutchy of Cornwall earnings!

  8. If this were about anything connected to Israel, the headline would be: “Denmark queen claims she plans to abdicate. Allegedly, according to Danish claims, it is alleged she is supposed to have a son who is claimed to be made king in January. Allegedly. This cannot be verified independently.”
