We’re losing our democracy to fascist propaganda. Those insurrectionists didn’t spontaneously manifest in a vacuum. Our reality is being dictated to us for the benefit of the gilded class.
MAGA, and Trump are a great example of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave. But, it’s not just MAGA stuck in the cave afraid to peak behind the thin curtain.
America is in trouble. Trump, Biden, DeSatan. It really doesn’t matter. The New Confederacy is happening regardless of what we vote for nationally.
Civil War is coming, but that’s just because revolution is impossible.
Oh yea, messages/mail/calls that threaten politicians/judges/etc, should be posted and public. I don’t think anyone who isn’t the one being targeted, has any idea how bad it is. I certainly don’t. I would wager they probably get a couple dozen threats a day though.
Well yeah, when people who try to overthrow the government only get 3 years in prison why wouldn’t they make an anonymous threatening phone call to a judge?
Prior to now, it was probably a good idea to downplay threats to avoid copycats. but threats are SOP for maga, so it might be time to shine a light on how bad it is

Posting about it only interferes with the investigative process and allows the ones doing it a chance at obfucscation and finger pointing.
I am quite sure the FBI will immediately tell anyone who’s received threats to NOT go to the press about it. That isn’t helping the situation at all, but it does make MSM money so I can understand why they will always, always, always push for it.

The former president launched his re-election campaign at an event where the imprisoned January 6 insurrectionists sang into their cell phones while images of the day flashed on screen. and he called them patriots who should be pardoned. And most recently was asked if he would repudiate political violence, and he refused to answer.

They absolutely should post them all, so that people see how big the problem is, and how one-sided it is. By keeping it hushed, GOP politicians are able to minimize it, and the media is able to “both sides” it. I guarantee if all the Wisconsin justices were asked to share a comprehensive list of all threats received, the lists for the liberal justices would be exponentially larger than the conservatives.
One state over, they planned to kidnap and murder the governor. And only because the people planning it had sloth level intelligence did it fail.
….and the response from the GOP is they will threaten to impeach her for speaking out against this.
The GOP cosplaying as a victim of an imaginary “left” is pushing their constituents into a murderous rage. Stephanic claiming Christian persecution is just the latest example. They can’t see past the next election and are willing to burn the country to the ground for a single election cycle and Trump.
The lack of urgency about threats to public officials, and how we put those officials lives and their families’ lives under a national microscope, in general, is why most of our public officials are greedy sociopaths. The ones with consciences are being pushed out and it’s a feedback loop that’s going to destroy our country eventually. Probably by design.
Nobody who is sane and/or good person would actually want these jobs. The pay isn’t anywhere nearly good enough to offset the calamitous consequences of having an opinion that is at all contrary to the powerless morons who make it their identity to care deeply about things they have zero control over.
Hunt every person down making these threats and treat them as a terrorist, because that is what they are. We’ve been steadily throwing people in prison for their entire lives for much less.

Yeah, according to recent reports, compared to the 90s, where 90% of Americans still believed in democracy and 10% believed democracy could die, the current ratio is a frightening 50/50. Yikes.
It has to start from one person first
There really needs to be a crackdown on this kind of behavior. Threatening elected and judicial officials with harm or violence to influence their decisions should never be acceptable regardless of who it is.
If only they arrested and imprisoned the people involved in this that worded from the inside.
These people should be labeled as terrorists that’s literally what they are… trying to extort the government.
