Wait until the election. It’s going to be a blue Landslide. 🌀
He does what now? This is how we bring the nation together.
It makes sense…. Aside from the north east corner the western front and the line along 76 on the turnpike PA likes democracy. They showed it by very loudly rejecting a MAGA terrorist in Doug Mastriano. The loudest minority in history is the MAGA base of cultists following their red hatted dictator.
Biden now leads Trump in Pennsylvania, Virginia and New Hampshire across high profile/high quality polls in recent days. Combined with the traditional blue states, all he’d need to do beyond these is get Wisconsin, either the extra single district in Maine or Nebraska, and reverse whatever the hell’s been going on in Michigan with those polls to win.
Would be hilarious if Biden put together a coalition based on suburbanites, educated and middle income whites as a base to grab reelection.
And keep in mind these are the results before Biden hits Trump with $1.5 Billion in attack ads over the six months before the election, while Trump bleeds out campaign cash for his legal fees. This is before Trump’s trials take center stage across all major media outlets (except FOX of course) throughout election season. This is before whatever fascist garbage Trump says is headline news all over the country every few days once he’s the nominee, whereas up to now too many people still haven’t been paying attention. This is before the economy likely improves. This is before Biden lays out a true 2nd term agenda. This is before Biden potentially uses the power of the office to do things like decriminalize marijuana nationwide, or launch another big attempt to cancel student loans and show young voters who the obstructionists on it really are. This is before he makes a re-codifying of Roe v Wade a core tenant of every one of his speeches, campaign stops and ads while GOP states continue to try and ban it outright and give women the death penalty for getting one which will boomerang onto Trump at least with some.
The election is still Biden’s to lose. But nobody can get complacent and everyone must do the work to defeat Trump and end the threat of fascism for good.
How is it even that close?
People are just so brainwashed they would consider voting for someone who is clearly a serial liar and criminal, over a career politician with years of experience and a track record of bipartisanship?🤦🏻♂️
Don’t pick and choose when you agree with the legitimacy of a poll. Go and vote
I needed some good news
Wait Biden has spent 1.5 BILLION in 6 months on ads?!
That’s not what he made his lawyer say in court yesterday /s lol
Not sure I believe the MI polls seeing as they went crazy blue in the midterms. Just show up and vote.
Shhh let them pick Trump as the GOP nominee first
Glad to see this. But I do not trust the Hill.
I’m not sure how anyone could call themselves a Trump supporter and also someone who loves America.
Putin, who desperately wants to drag America down, desperately wants Trump to win re-election in November. He was a horrible president, the worst jobs president ever, who coasted on his predecessor’s accomplishments, made tiny ill-informed tweaks to the system, and gave the richest of us $170 billion a year in lower taxes. He did everything possible to divide the nation. His instincts are almost always wrong on every key issue.
I just wished that there were other options for the Democratic party advertised the other Democratic presidential candidates the same way it used to in previous elections. They exist, too.
I’m still going to vote for whoever wins the Democratic primary though
Not a hard decision
The NYTimes is saying Biden is losing in the other swing states.
Crazy. Not really sure what he could do differently.
Somebody tell the New York Times to write 10 articles about this like they did when some polls showed Trump leading.
Ewww, who would want to top Trump anyway
Big Fat is done
Pennsylvanian here……I’ll be voting for Biden again.
The polls that have been showing Trump slightly above Biden in non-red states sound like bullshit to me. I hear a lot of criticism of Trump from conservatives in my life. Don’t get me wrong, they still have no problem in general with Trumpism. But they’re also not stupid. Any rational person with eyes and ears will look at Trump and shake their head. Mostly, they’re sick of the non-stop drama and chaos and they do actually realize Trump causes most of it (vs. the media).
Just saw on the news that blacks dropped from 92% vote for Biden in 2020 to only projected 61% now because he hasn’t done enough for them and didn’t pay off their student loans , I’m like so that 30% is so stupid they’re going to vote for a party where a significant number of its members are racist and if they’re voting for Trump their stupidity knows no no boundaries.
Biden has had to deal with more huge issues in 3 years than any other president. Several massive school and other shootings, Covid, the economic aftermath of Covid/ inflation, 2 wars, Trump, Insurrection, several massive natural disasters and those are just a few. He may not be perfect but he’s working his ass off and holding us together by the skin of his teeth.
If the voting is done today, it comes down to Wisconsin/Arizona/Georgia/ Nevada. I strongly believe Biden will win Pennsylvania and Michigan.
“Democrats back Biden 96 – 4 percent and Republicans back Trump 89 – 7 percent. Independents are divided, with 45 percent supporting Trump and 44 percent supporting Biden.”
“Among independents, the top issues are border security (22 percent), preserving democracy in the United States (22 percent), the economy (15 percent), and the cost of living (13 percent).”

So Independents largely seem to be disaffected Bernie Bros, Embarassed “Libertarians”, and conspiracy theorists.

If you are STILL on the fence at this point grow the fuck up.
PA is like a microcosm of the nation. Blue on the east and west, and lil blue pockets, in the middle of an otherwise vast, sparse red landscape.
Just like the nation, those smaller areas are actually larger populations, and so the state is functionally dem…
Oh wait, gerrymandering. Again, just like across this fine land, poorly drawn districts have marginalized communities in PA.
Also also, just like Americans view their Congressfolk with skepticism, PA has the most bloated and overpaid legislature in the country. Average state legislator pay is more than double the state median income.
So yeah, its easy to see how PA is used as a bellwether.
“Biden tops Trump” is not a mental image I will ever recover from. Thanks The Hill.
I have a theory actually, and it’s completely based on anecdotal evidence so wolf with me here. I live in Brooklyn, work in Queens, and in my office alone >10 people have left to move to Pennsylvania. Mostly in the area surrounding Scranton. As NY and NJ get more expensive folks leave to use their increased purchasing power in a cheaper state like PA. Even in Philly I could get a decent brownstone for like 300k. In NYC 300k gets you a cardboard box. Nevermind Long Island where I grew up. 😓 I have noticed many otherwise liberal folks seek out more rural areas for the low costs. I know my fiancé is from NJ and he noticed the trend of NYers moving into Monmouth and Ocean Counties. I’m thinking Pennsylvania is the “it girl” for liberals now.
A few things to consider when reading about the polls: 1. young people don’t take these polls. 2. Independents generally don’t either. The reality is Biden will annihilate trump if there is an election tomorrow. Just relax and come the day we head to the polls in record numbers.
Ignore the polls and vote like your livelihood depends on it!!
I’m not listening to polls. I’m voting blue!
‘Trump is bottomed in Pennsylvania’ is a better title tbh
“biden tops trump” well there’s three words I never want to see strung together in a headline.
Polls are dumb. The one with the supporters who show up will win. Register to vote now and get ready to vote
Tops. Bottoms. No need for labels. Live your life!
Hey, a win’s a win! Pennsylvania is possibly the most important swing state in Biden’s coalition. Without it, he’s dependent on winning Georgia and Arizona.
This primary, register as an Independent and vote for DeSantis or whomever is in the Republican lead at the time of your vote in your state. If enough of us do it , Trump will not be in the general election. Make your vote count for democracy! Let’s start a movement and make ourselves heard, NO MORE TRUMP.
Independents will decide this election and they don’t take surveys
CNN has a 538 electoral college projection showing Trump cruising to a second term right now as of right now. What the fucking hell? Is everyone of fucking crazy pills? Do you not know what this man has done and plans to do?
Good, Biden only just began campaigning this month.
That headline is hella gay and I love it.
Ignore the polls. Vote.
I’d hope so? He’s FROM here
Every-time i see one of these headlines i will repeat the same thing: FUCK WHAT THE POLLS SAY. GO VOTE.
I think as we close in on November, Biden will come to lead all the states he did in 2020, maybe with the exception of Georgia. I don’t see a change coming in Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, or Nevada based on success of Democrats in those states. I even believe Florida’s Senate race and abortion citizens amendment will boost Biden in the state. Strong D incumbents in even Montana and Ohio I think will boost Biden there too (though I don’t see that swapping).
