I got it and the typical symptoms hit me hard. I knew there was no way to avoid it once I got in the airplane for holiday travel. EVERYONE was coughing.
For decades winter months were cold and flu season.
Now it’s covid and flu season.
You can choose to protect yourself from both, or not.
How many of the 10,000 were vaxxed? Just a scientific question. We used to be able to ask questions like this.
I’m really beginning to feel left out. I haven’t been sick once since before covid started.
Got covid rn. Messed with my heart some how. Started on Monday early early morning. Woke up to some weird afib going on at around 1 am. Monday ran a 101.4 until i got home from work and nyquil’d myself to sleep. Tuesday HR said to take a test since my manager and another peer tested positive. Hearts been beating harder up till today. No afib anymore though. I can see where it can get more dangerous for elderly and people that are already unhealthy.

I still haven’t had symptoms nor tested positive on a rapid test, which I was taking twice weekly for work during the height of the pandemic. Each new variant strikes me with a sense of dread, oh no is this one going to hit me. I know I have been exposed to it before, and likely I am just asymptomatic for this reason I make a point of being extra cautious as I am always nervous that I have it and can’t tell. I have had people tell me if I am asymptomatic and have kept up with my vaccines I am likely not contagious but I am still cautious for the sake of others.
Thousands died every month before covid.
My Aunt and Uncle were just diagnosed with Covid.. but that can’t be because they said they don’t believe it’s real before …
That’s it? Barely even news worthy
Got Covid for the first time this week. Fucking horrible. I literally wake up cursing it. I can’t freaking breathe. My nose and throat feels like it’s blocked off and no matter how many times I blow, it’s never cleared. Atleast the horrendous cough with fluid in my lungs is gone. Now when I cough, it just burns a tiny bit. Fuck covid. I want to feel better already. It’s been 5 days, I better be healed by the end of the week.
Does the latest booster cover the new variant?
That’s an insignificant number of people. Quit being paranoid and live your life. Humans are social beings and people locking themselves away is the main reason we have a mental health crisis.
